Back From Fall Break! We will be doing a circular motion lab as well as moving on to gravity
Week 10: Continue Newton's laws. Thursday watch the above video.
Week 9: First quarter ends on Wednesday! All makeup work is due by the end of the week. We will begin Unit 3 on Monday with Vocabulary, and then move on to Newton's Laws. Wednesday morning will be PSAT/SAT testing for all students.
Week 8: October 10: We will further explore projectile motion using a simulation from PhET Colorado (button below). Wednesday is a teacher inservice day, no school for students. Thursday will be review and we will have the Unit 2 Exam on Friday.
Week 7: October 3: More Free Fall notes and practice. We will also conduct a lab activity to explore how free fall happens in real life. Then we will move on to projectile motion notes and practice.
Week 6: September 26: More Graphing Practice: we will be doing a lab activity using motion detectors on Monday. Mid week we will have a digital citizenship lesson, then we move on to Free Fall. We will also begin using Schoology on Monday in class. The lab report will be turned in online (graphs turned in in-class).
Week 5: September 19: All about graphing! We will learn and practice position, velocity and acceleration vs time graphs. Substitute on Wednesday, make sure to bring your laptops you will use them all class. No school on Friday!

Go to the following webpage (click button) and complete the activities titled: Name that Motion, and All About Graphing. They are due at the end of class and each one counts as a full grade. If you finish those activities move on to the marble ramp activity on the same website. I expect you all to be on your best behavior for the substitute.
