Week 9: We will continue on with the atom and periodic table. Tuesday will be the 9weeks final. Wednesday we will not have class due to PSAT/SAT testing school wide in the morning. Wednesday is the last day of the Quarter.
Week 8: We will continue learning about the atom as well as how we can use the periodic table to tell us about different elemental properties.
Week 7: We will begin learning about the atom. First the history, then we will move into what it is made of.
Week 6: Classifying matter: more practice with intensive/extensive and chemical/physical properties as well as states of matter. We will conduct a lab about separation methods as well as have our Unit Exam.
Week 5: Classifying matter. We will learn about states/phases of matter, as well as how to classify matter.
